They are lovely, placid animals. The current price IS really cheap compared to a couple of years ago. Next year they will be about $1000. That gives you time to save up.

usually they are very placid but do have strong feeding responces so you need to be careful around feeding times.

you should really look for quality first in my opinion instead of looking at (cheap) prices as you (usually) always get what you pay for..

Yeah, what colen said, avoid those that are pro mixing them up with smuggled in illegals and that will breed just anything together, I take it that is what he means with "you get what you pay for".?

But, there are a few purist breeders that sell there hatchling albinos for way less than most others. Parents purchased from Stone too, so they are "quality" animals. Just shop around and don't rush.

Cheers,

Kris.

This is a photo of mine.

I've only had him for just over a month and he has settled down so much in this short time. I bought him from Snake Ranch. I'm not sure how he fairs on "Price" to "Quality" scale but at the end of the day he is still an albino and I'm very happy with him. He doesn't show much white on him at the moment but hopefully these will start to show more each time he sheds. What do you look for in an albino when looking for quality? Besides the breeder obviously .

Here's a response to venom's albino porn. I'm putting 2 males across her - a het and an albino. The albino male is a bit small, so I'm not sure if he's ready. I've caught both of them like this. The het isn't quite as mellow as the 2 albinos, but is handsome in his own right (my avatar). I'm hoping my first season will lead to some pretty babies.
